Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how the mobile game TapDown ("the App", "we", "us") handles information when you use it. By installing and using the App you agree to the practices described here. The App is developed and operated by an independent developer ("the Developer").

1. Information we collect

The App itself does not ask you for your name, email address, phone number, or any account registration. We do not knowingly collect personal contact details. The App and the third-party services embedded in it process the following categories of data:

• Gameplay & analytics data — anonymous events such as app sessions, levels started, levels completed and levels failed, used to understand how the game is played and to improve it.
• Device & technical data — device model, operating system version, language, coarse region, and app version, collected automatically by analytics and advertising SDKs.
• Advertising identifiers — the Google Advertising ID (GAID) and similar identifiers, used to serve and measure ads (including personalized ads where permitted).
• Attribution data — information about how the App was installed (e.g. which ad campaign), used to measure marketing performance.
• Purchase data — the fact, type and amount of an in-app purchase. Payments are processed by Google Play; we never receive or store your credit card or payment details.

2. Third-party services

The App uses the following third-party services, each governed by its own privacy policy:

• Google Firebase Analytics (analytics) — Firebase Privacy / Google Privacy Policy.
• Unity LevelPlay / ironSource mediation (advertising) — mediates ad networks such as Google AdMob, Unity Ads, Meta Audience Network and others. Unity Privacy / ironSource Privacy.
• Google AdMob (advertising) — How Google uses data / AdMob & privacy.
• Unity Ads (advertising) — Unity Ads Privacy.
• AppsFlyer (attribution / marketing measurement) — AppsFlyer Privacy.
• Google Play Billing (in-app purchases) — Google Privacy Policy.

These providers may collect and process data as independent controllers in accordance with their own policies. We encourage you to review them.

3. How we use the data

• To run, maintain and improve the App and its gameplay balance.
• To display advertising (the App is supported by ads) and measure its performance.
• To process and deliver in-app purchases.
• To detect, prevent and address technical issues and abuse.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Advertising

The App shows ads provided through mediation. Ad networks may use your advertising identifier to show personalized ads. You can reset or limit ad personalization at any time in your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads on Android), and through any consent prompt shown in the App where required by law.

Advertising is delivered through Unity LevelPlay mediation, which may show ads from Unity Ads, Google AdMob, and other partner networks. To opt out of personalized advertising from these partners you can use Google Ads settings and Unity's privacy choices, in addition to the device-level controls above.

We publish an app-ads.txt file on our developer domain listing the advertising systems authorized to sell ad inventory in the App, following the IAB Tech Lab "authorized digital sellers" standard.

5. Children

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with data, please contact us and we will delete it.

6. Your rights (GDPR / CCPA and similar)

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, to object to processing, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. You can also opt out of personalized advertising as described above. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email below and we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

7. Data retention

Analytics and advertising data are retained by the respective third-party providers for the periods defined in their policies. We retain data only as long as necessary for the purposes described here or as required by law.

8. International transfers

The third-party providers listed above may process data on servers located outside your country, including in the United States. They apply appropriate safeguards as described in their policies.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
